At Highland Hounds, we believe that a well-behaved dog starts with a fulfilled dog. Many common behaviour issues aren’t the result of a “bad” dog, but rather a dog whose natural needs aren’t being met. True fulfilment goes far beyond a quick walk around the block. Dogs need the opportunity to explore, sniff, problem solve and engage with the world around them in a meaningful way. When these needs are met, dogs become calmer, more balanced, and far easier to live with.

We work all over the Southern Highlands and Wollondilly areas, including village areas.
We can come and collect your dog from your home or property, or we can work directly with you on-site to help if you want to be more hands-on with training. We are flexible to work around you and your dogs. -
We offer dog walking around the Southern Highlands and Wollondilly, adventure days, dog training, pet sitting services, or anything else you may need that is dog-related.

We combine structured training with real-world experiences to create lasting results. By reinforcing good behaviour in natural environments, dogs learn to stay calm, responsive, and confident, no matter the setting.

Typically, our adventure days vary, depending on the needs of the pet. Some walks may have up to 20 dogs, with a range of breeds, while others may only have a few. We take into account the dog’s ability, social skills and breed when pairing them for walks.

We offer one-off walks and training or we also offer weekly pricing if you want to lock into something more consistent. Pricing is upfront.
